Good Afternoon Residents, This is to advise that the sidewalks around our city are not to be used for parking vehicles. This is against Texas Transportation Code 545.302 which prohibits vehicles to Stop, Stand, or Park on a sidewalk. Parking across a sidewalk is a safety issue that causes pedestrians to have to walk in the street to get around your vehicle. Now that school is starting this is especially important as we don't want our children to be walking on the streets where they can get injured. 🚒❤️ Congratulations to our La Villa Fire Department on hosting their first CPR Certification Training! We hope this is the first of many classes and events to come. A special thank you to Fire Chief Javier De La Cruz for coordinating this important life-saving training and bringing valuable resources to our community.
